BOISE—The Vandals bounced back from Saturday’s loss with a convincing 7-0 win on Sunday. Idaho took its aggression out on Idaho State, blanking the Bengals to close the regular season at the Appleton Tennis Center.
Idaho (15-6, 9-2 BSC), the defending Big Sky champions, played dominate across the board against the Bengals. Idaho State was only able to claim one set win on the day, as the Vandals looked tournament ready. Sunday’s win secures a first-round bye for the Vandals in next week’s Big Sky Tournament.
“Today was a good way to finish for us,” head coach Abid Akbar explained.
