MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team fell to Southern Utah University, 73-45, on Monday evening. The Thunderbirds (12-7, 5-3 BSC) jumped out to a 13-2 lead and never looked back as they took down the Vandals (5-14, 1-7 BSC).
THE GAME
Scott Blakney hit a shot from just outside the paint on the first Vandal possession, but SUU would score the next 13 points. Idaho would cut the lead to seven, 16-9, with 11:33 to play in the first, but the Thunderbirds led 43-24, at halftime.
Trevon Allen would hit two free throws to start the scoring in the second half, but Southern Utah would score the next 10 points.
