VANCOUVER, Wash.— Idaho men's tennis could not recover after dropping doubles point and took another hit in the losing column of conference play, 5-2, at Portland State Friday afternoon.
Playing in Vancouver, Wash., where the Vikings play their home matches, Idaho drops to 2-3 on the season and have yet to win a conference match. The Vikings improved to 5-2 overall and captured it's first Big Sky win of the season.
The Vandals were unable to clinch the doubles points, which put the team at a deficit early. Peter Shin and Bruno Casino posted the lone doubles win for Idaho after defeating PSU in a close 7-6 battle.
