MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho volleyball team lost in three sets against Portland State 11-25, 22-25, 19-25 on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gym.
Taryn Vrieling led the offensive output with 13 kills on a .258 hitting percentage, while setter Keelyn Muell totaled a team-high 24 assists and two blocks.
The Vikings won the opening set, 25-11. Aine Doty and Vrieling led the way defensively, as the pair both totaled six digs. Portland State used a 12-2 run midway through the frame, which built a large enough lead to coast through the set.
