BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Windy conditions ripped through Boulder Creek Golf Club as the Idaho women closed out their front nine and continued gusting up to 35 miles per hour for the rest of the second round Saturday, at the Big Sky Championships. The Vandals turned in a 19-over 307 to move up one spot in the standings, but were unable to keep pace with Sacramento State and Eastern Washington who teed off earlier in the day and avoided much of the blustery weather. Idaho sits fourth headed into Sunday's final round.
"We knew we had to play ourselves into the early-morning twosome because of weather," said head coach Lisa Johnson.
