MOSCOW, IDAHO - Idaho's historic 2023 season ended Saturday evening, falling to UAlbany 30-22 at the P1FCU Kibbie Dome, in the FCS Quarterfinals.
The Vandals finished the year with the first postseason win and the first nine-win season since 2016 and the first trip to the quarterfinals since 1993, all with the youngest team among the eight teams in the quarterfinals and with four of the six rotational players on the offensive line that were first or second-year players.
Idaho led most of the game, taking a 7-0 lead on a 36-yard reception by Jordan Dwyer.
