BOULDER CITY, Nev.- Idaho junior Sophie Hausmann matched her own Big Sky Championship single-round record with a 7-under 65 Saturday, vaulting herself and the Vandals into the lead after two rounds of the 2018 Big Sky Women's Golf Championships at Boulder Creek Golf Club. Hausmann's score ties for the second-lowest round in the NCAA this season, according to GolfStat. She leads the individual standings by four strokes at 6-under (138), while Idaho is five strokes clear of second-place Sacramento State with 18 holes to play.
Hausmann's historic day got out to a quick start as she ripped off three straight birdies on holes two, three and four.
