MOSCOW, Idaho – How much of a difference does a year make? How about 82-points.
Hayden Hatten tied an Idaho record with four receiving touchdowns and the Idaho Vandal football team topped Eastern Washington 48-16 Saturday, a year after falling to the Eagles 71-21 in Cheney.
The Vandals controlled both sides of the ball, holding the Eagles to just 278 yards on offense, including just 36 rushing on the day. Offensively, the Vandals racked up 531 yards of offense, including 308-yards rushing. It is the second time in three weeks that Idaho has rushed for over 300 yards.
