WALLA WALLA, Wash.- Former Idaho Women's Basketball standout Mikayla Ferenz has been named as an assistant coach for the Whitman College women's basketball program as announced Tuesday morning. Ferenz's mother Michelle has been the Head Coach for the Whitman since 2001 totaling over 300 career wins, while her father Chris also serves as an assistant coach.
Prior to joining Whitman Ferenz played professionally for BC Muscle Pikes in the Luxembourg Total League averaging 16.8 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game and 2.8 assists per game through five games before the season was paused.
