MOSCOW, Idaho – Three Vandal men's golfers and two Vandal women's golfers were named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, CSC announced Tuesday.
To be nominated for the award, athletes need to carry at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 70% of a team's season.
Johannes Hounsgaard, Matthew McGann and Big Sky Champion Joe Sykes all earned the honor on the men's side. Jenna Bruggeman and Boram Jung received the honor on the women's side.
Johannes is the only player out of the five Vandals that has graduated and will not return this fall.
