MOSCOW, Idaho— For the second week in a row, Idaho women's basketball player Mikayla Ferenz nabs the College Sports Madness Big Sky Conference Player of the Week, the publication released Monday.
Ferenz helped the Vandals to its second consecutive 2-0 week, and six straight wins overall, by breaking records individually and collectively. In Idaho's 76-68 revenge win against Montana, the senior posted 23 points, which led her to becoming the all-time scoring leader in Vandal basketball history on Thursday. She then followed up with a 32-point performance on Saturday as the Vandals blew past Montana State, 90-65.
