OGDEN, Utah – After a number of strong performances on the opening weekend, a pair of Vandals have been recognized for their efforts, earning Big Sky Conference Athletes of the Week. Ben Doucette earned the Male Track Athlete of the Week award, while Zachary Short took home Male Field Athlete of the Week.
Doucette ran a blistering 7.88 second time in the final of the 60-meter hurdles to take first. The time is the fastest of his career, and the fastest in the Big Sky this season. Doucette is currently ranked 19th in the nation in the event.
