PORTLAND, Ore. – The greatest honor for any athlete is representing his or her country. For coaches, it’s no different.
Idaho Director of Track and Field Tim Cawley will lead the Team USA women at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland this weekend, an honor that he certainly does not take lightly.
“For myself, any time you can represent your country at the highest level, it’s an unspeakable honor,” said Cawley. “It’s a great honor. It’s been humbling. I’m very happy to be in this situation.”
Cawley will oversee the women’s team, aiding wherever he can to help make the team better.
