FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.- Idaho women's swimming and diving dropped a tight meet at Northern Arizona Saturday, 173-122, the second meet in less than 24 hours for the Vandals. Cara Jernigan and Lauren Votava each posted a win and Idaho's 400-yard freestyle relay wrapped up the day with a victory.
Jernigan cruised to victory in the 100-yard breaststroke. She led by a half second after the first lap and posted a 1:05.50. The altitude-adjusted time (1:05.35) is the fastest by a Vandal this season. Idaho's Aimee Iwamoto checked in at 1:06.22 to place second in the race.
