The University of Idaho men's and women's basketball teams participated Big Sky Basketball Media Day on Tuesday. The men had head coach Don Verlin and Perrion Callandret . The women were represented by associate head coach Christa Sanford and junior Mikayla Ferenz. The Vandal men were tabbed as the preseason conference favorites. The Idaho women were picked fourth by the Big Sky media and fifth by the coaches in the preseason polls.
