Nate Sherwood — Men’s Basketball
Although the Vandals fell to Northern Arizona on the road Saturday, redshirt freshman Nate Sherwood recorded his first career double-double. The forward finished the game with 10 points and a career high 10 rebounds. In Thursday’s game against Southern Utah, Sherwood contributed 9 points in the Vandal victory.
Mikayla Ferenz — Women’s Basketball
Freshman Mikayla Ferenz proved to be a key contributor in the two women’s home basketball games last week. In Thursday’s game against Southern Utah, Ferenz posted 14 points and finished the game as the third highest scorer overall.
