MOSCOW, Idaho – Xe'Ree Alexander was named to the FCS Bluebloods Freshman All-American Team, released by the organization Monday.
Alexander, a true freshman from Auburn, Washington, stepped into the starting spot for the first time against Montana State and has yet to give up the starting job. He is now tied for the lead in tackles for the Vandals at 60 and has 4.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a QB hurry and a pass breakup on the year.
Against Montana State, he had four solo tackles, including key tackles that limited plays. He notched a career-high 13 stops against Northern Colorado, including 3.
