Results Two Vandals shined in the 5k, led by Sierra Speiker in second at 17:51.76. McCall Skay earned fifth with a time of 18:38.55, a time that would be the seventh best in the conference this season. Kolcie Bates also earned a second-place finish, in the hammer throw. She went 53.56 meters (175-09), a new personal best.
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Vandals are out to a great start at the 2017 Sam Adams Invitational, hosted by Whitworth on Thursday. Several Vandals earned top-five finishes on the opening day of competition.
