Gavin Whyte says he is relishing the competition for places in Hull City’s attack ahead of this weekend’s home game against Bristol Rovers.
Whyte, who is currently on loan at the KCOM Stadium from Cardiff City, has recently returned from injury and has started in two of the last three games including the midweek victory over Rochdale. However, keen to get more minutes under his belt after leaving South Wales for East Yorkshire, the 25-year-old Northern Ireland international knows that he must perform well to earn a regular starting place.
“I’m really enjoying it. It’s good to be back playing,” said Whyte.
