AC Milan midfielder Keisuke Honda rejected a move to Hull City on transfer deadline day, according to reports in Italy.
The Japan international has been out of favour at the San Siro since the arrival of new head coach Vincenzo Montella and Hull boss Marco Silva was in the market to strengthen his side ahead of the battle against relegation.
The Tigers signed Kamil Grosicki and Alfred N'Diaye on the final day of the window but, according to sources in Italy, Honda was also on the radar of the Premier League side.
