Hull City will visit League One side Sunderland for a pre-season friendly on Friday 30th July, kick-off 7:00pm.
The Black Cats were familiar opponents and promotion rivals for the Tigers last season, with all three meetings between the sides finishing all square after 90 minutes.
Grant McCann’s men travelled to Sunderland for the first competitive match of the 2020/21 season, prevailing 5-4 on penalties in an EFL Cup first-round tie after a goalless draw.
It finished 1-1 in the league fixture at the Stadium of Light and 2-2 in the reverse match as Josh Magennis’ headed brace put the Tigers on the brink of promotion.
