Regan Slater is targeting a more regular place in the Hull City side during the closing weeks of the season.
The midfielder came into the starting eleven for last weekend’s draw with Gillingham and is hoping to keep his place for the Good Friday trip to Crewe Alexandra having played his part in an impressive display against the Gills.
It was the 21-year-old’s first league start since December and he is now eager for more as his season-long loan from Sheffield United heads towards its conclusion.
“It was a shame to see ‘Burkey’ miss last weekend’s game with an injury because he’s been a big part of our season,” said Slater.
