Hull City U23’s suffered a 4-2 defeat against Sheffield United in their latest U23 Professional Development League fixture.
Despite Ahmed Salam and Sean McLoughlin scoring, the Tigers succumbed to defeat at The Technique Stadium.
Tony Pennock took the reigns in the dugout and he named a completely rotated starting eleven to the team that were defeated 3-1 against Birmingham City last time out, as first-team members McLoughlin, Brandon Fleming, Dan Batty, Thomas Mayer and James Scott all gained vital minutes.
The Tigers had the first chance of the game as Billy Chadwick forced Marcus Dewhurst into a smart save with a low drive.
