Hull City were denied a win that would have lifted them out of the Premier League's relegation zone for the first time since October as old boy Fraizer Campbell headed in a late equaliser to earn Crystal Palace a 3-3 draw at the KCOM Stadium.
City rode their luck with a fortuitous penalty to open the scoring but produced their best performance since the opening weeks of the season to right the wrongs of a limp defeat at Middlesbrough. The only shame was that three points were not the reward.
Positives
City found huge improvements from their trip to the Riverside five days earlier, playing with intensity and aggression to regularly push Palace on to the back foot.
