Born in Gleadless, the 21-year-old progressed through Sheffield United’s academy and captained their youth team.
The midfielder became the Blades’ youngest-ever goalscorer when netting on his professional debut in a 4-2 EFL Trophy victory at Grimsby in November 2016, aged 17.
His league debut came the following December in a 1-0 Championship defeat at Preston, while he also featured in an FA Cup win at Ipswich – his last Blades outing to date.
