Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s nightmare season in England continued when his late blunder cost his team a clean sheet in Saturday's 3-1 win against Hull.
Bravo allowed an 85th-minute dig from Hull defender Andrea Ranocchia to squirm under his hands to maintain an unwanted record of conceding from the last seven shots he’s faced in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola, who ditched England No 1 Joe Hart to bring in Bravo from Barcelona, tried to shield the Chilean from blame after recalling him for the first time in the league for almost three months.
‘Six players forgot to defend and when that happens normally a goal is scored,’ he said.
