Hull City could be without skipper Richie Smallwood for Saturday’s trip to Northampton Town.
The midfielder picked up an injury during the Tigers’ defeat at West Ham in midweek, but Grant McCann hopes it won’t be too serious and will know the full extent after Smallwood undergoes a scan today.
Meanwhile, Tom Eaves is nearing a return to action. The striker has been missing since hobbling off against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup, but is expected to be back on the grass in the coming days.
Aside from those two injuries, McCann has a full squad to choose from for the Tigers’ visit to the Sixfields Stadium.
