Grant McCann felt Hull City should have been out of sight by half-time in the pulsating 3-3 draw with Doncaster Rovers.
Two Mallik Wilks headers put the Tigers 2-0 ahead inside 24 minutes and although Reece James pulled one back, another header from Jacob Greaves made it 3-1 before the break.
But Rovers were the dominant force in the second half, with Omar Bogle converting a 67th-minute penalty and James Coppinger equalising in the 102ndminute with a sublime free-kick.
“We should have been out of sight in the first half,” said McCann.
