McCann Targeting More Home Goals

Grant McCann has called on his players to start replicating their free-scoring away form on home soil, starting against Rochdale this evening.

The comprehensive 3-0 victory at AFC Wimbledon made it 11 goals in three away games, with the Tigers’ overall tally of 37 in 17 away matches the best in the country.

By contrast, Hull City have only netted 15 goals in 15 home games and failed to score in the last three, the most recent two ending in 1-0 defeats.

Asked what needs to change, McCann said: “We need to be a bit calmer at home and not think ‘we need to go and win, we need to go and win’ and get so focused on winning that all of a sudden your performance goes.
