Grant McCann was left to rue his side’s lack of goal threat as Hull City were beaten 1-0 at home to Shrewsbury.
Charlie Daniels’ 27th-minute goal inflicted a fourth defeat of the season on the Tigers, who failed to score for the first time in the league this term.
“We weren’t good today,” said McCann, whose team remain top of League One.
“We struggled probably the whole game. Saying that, we probably had the three best chances in the game, apart from their goal.
“In the first half, (Jacob) Greavesy had a good header.
