Grant McCann said he was proud of the way his players went about their business after seeing his Hull City side come from behind to win 2-1 at Crewe Alexandra on Good Friday.
Chris Porter’s 66th-minute penalty had put the hosts ahead, but Josh Magennis levelled five minutes later when the Tigers were awarded a spot kick of their own before Mallik Wilks came up with a fine winner in added on time to keep McCann’s men a point clear at the top of Sky Bet League One.
“It was an important win given the results we’ve seen elsewhere,” said McCann.
