Grant McCann was pleased once again with his side’s attacking threat from set-pieces during Hull City’s 3-1 victory over Peterborough United on Tuesday night.
Reece Burke’s 21st-minute header, the centre-back’s fifth goal of the season, brought the Tigers level at the Weston Homes Stadium as McCann’s men went on to take control of the game and the Head Coach has been pleased with his team’s prolific nature from set-pieces in recent months.
“Reece has five goals for the season now which is brilliant,” said McCann.
“We want the centre backs chipping in with goals, just like we want players in other areas of the field chipping in because you can’t always rely on the front three.
