Grant McCann was pleased to see Tom Eaves open his account for the season in the win at Bristol Rovers.
The 28-year-old came off the bench to play an instrumental role in the Tigers’ stirring second-half fightback at the Memorial Stadium.
He first set up Regan Slater to put Hull City in front before scoring the match-clinching third in stoppage time.
It was the striker’s first goal since the thrilling 4-4 draw with Swansea in February after a frustrating spell with injury.
And McCann has every faith he will score many more this season.
