James Coppinger’s sublime free-kick 12 minutes into stoppage time denied Hull City victory in a pulsating match against Doncaster Rovers.
The Tigers led 2-0 after 24 minutes, with Mallik Wilks making it five goals in two games with a brace of headers against his former club.
His first came on 19 minutes from Callum Elder’s free-kick before doubling the Tigers’ lead five minutes later from a Greg Docherty cross.
Reece James’ fizzing strike halved the deficit but Jacob Greaves’ first Hull City goal – a towering header from George Honeyman’s corner – made it 3-1 at the break.
