Curtis Davies believes that Wayne Rooney’s best position is as a number ten, and not as a out-and-out striker.

The Manchester United captain has come under much scrutiny in the last year, following a series of poor performances for both club and country.

After a woeful Euro 2016 where the England skipper was deployed in front of the back four, new Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho insisted the star was a striker - not a midfielder.
