Alfie Jones and his Hull City teammates were left frustrated by a 2-0 defeat away at Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.
The 23 year-old defender has featured in the Tigers’ last six outings - contributing to three clean sheets in the process, but was disappointed with both the result and performance at the Wham Stadium, feeling that the team needed to be braver and more composed.
“Last week we got the ball down and played against them, and we took them apart with our style of play and quick passing,” said Jones. “This week, I felt the we got sucked into their game and we ended up going long when we just needed to get a grip of the game and show some composure.
