George Honeyman hailed a real team performance after helping Hull City to a 3-1 victory over promotion rivals Peterborough United on Tuesday night.
The two sides had gone into the game level on points at the top of the table, but a fourth successive win for the Tigers moved them three points clear of their hosts and Honeyman, who set up his side’s first goal of the night before winning a penalty for the third, was pleased with the night’s work.
“It was a good overall team performance and everybody contributed massively to that,” said Honeyman.
