Australian international football star Jackson Irvine has finally tied the knot with his longtime partner Jemilla Pir after having to postpone the ceremony because he was drunk for two days.
The former Burton Albion and Hull City midfielder, 31, captained German side St Pauli back into the nation's top flight following their 3-1 win over VFL Osnabruck on Sunday.
He was due to marry fiancée Jemilla in Denmark on Tuesday, however the worse for wear footballer forgot to take his passport to the wedding, resulting in Danish officials refusing to hold the ceremony.
Jemilla, a tattooist, took to Instagram to share what happened, with the couple forced to postpone the do until he got himself together.
