Hull are interested in Lee Darnborough as they search for a new director of football.
Darnborough held the head of scouting role at Norwich City before leaving Carrow Road in April.
But he is a leading contender to be appointed to the role of director of football at Hull following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
Darnborough has held similar roles at West Brom and Burnley.
Former Russia boss Leonid Slutsky was appointed as the club's new manager last week after Marco Silva left for Watford.
