Hull City expect to sign Olympiacos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui on loan before the weekend and have rejected a third West Ham bid for winger Robert Snodgrass worth around £6million.
Tigers manager Marco Silva is aiming to bring the player to the KCOM Stadium on an initial loan deal, but he may face competition from Watford for the defender.
Elabdellaoui, who has 23 caps for Norway, has featured just three times for Olympiacos this season despite the side being top of the Greek Super League.
The 25-year-old would provide competition for Ahmed Elmohamady with Silva likely to stick to a system of using wing backs in his bid to drag Hull away from Premier League relegation trouble.
