Hull City are no strangers to defeat this season but none have stung quite like the latest. Despite dominating almost from start to finish, striking the woodwork three times, it was Mark Noble's 76th-minute penalty for West Ham that condemned Mike Phelan's side to a seventh consecutive loss on their travels. To lose 1-0 was galling but the circumstances made it no better. Michail Antonio went down under the faintest contact from Tom Huddlestone inside the penalty area. Not that confirmation was required but City's luck was emphatically out.
