Adama Diomande has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Associaton after appearing to strike Bristol City forward Marlon Pack.
The incident occurred during Hull's 2-1 victory against Bristol in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. Diomande appeared to strike midfielder Pack in the back of the head during the dying embers of the clash at Ashton Gate.
The FA posted in a statement: 'Adama Diomande has been charged by the FA following Hull City's EFL Cup tie with Bristol City.
'It is alleged that Diomande's behaviour in or around the 90th minute of the fixture constitutes violent conduct.
