A quick-fire brace from McCauley Snelgrove helped guide the Hull City U23s to a 3-1 victory over top-of-the-table Bristol City. Ahmed Salam also netted for the Tigers as they secured all three points in the Professional Development League.
Richard Naylor and Andy Dawson made three changes to the starting XI that drew 0-0 against Watford last time out. Harry Fisk stepped up from the Under-18s to start between the sticks, while there were also welcome appearances for first-team members Max Clark, Jordan Flores and Brandon Fleming.
There were few chances in the opening minutes of the game as Fleming headed away Owura Edwards’ dangerous cross, before Fisk held James Morton’s long-range effort.
