Hull City Under-23’s secured a point in their latest Professional Development League fixture, after a goalless draw against Barnsley. David Robson saved a first-half penalty as the points were shared at the LNER Community Stadium.
Richard Naylor and Andy Dawson made eight changes to the starting XI that were defeated 3-0 against Birmingham City last time out. Robson replaced Harvey Cartwright in-between the sticks, while first-team members Jordan Flores and Thomas Mayer started respectively.
The Tigers had the first opportunity of the game as Jake Leake was picked out by Mayer’s cross-field pass, but the fullback’s low cross was gathered well by Corey Addai.
