Hull City U18’s endured a tough afternoon at Bishop Burton College, losing 6-1 against Crewe Alexandra. McCauley Snelgrove scored for the Tigers in only their second game since coming back from the temporary Academy lockdown.
John Anderson and Matt Hare made five changes to the starting eleven that was defeated 2-0 against Coventry City last time out. Billy Leach, Harry Wallis, Louis Beckett, Harry Lovick and Snelgrove all came in to replace Jake Leake, McCauley Power, Rio Dyer, Sam Deacon and Oliver Green respectively.
It was the visitors who created the first opportunities as Harry Fisk denied both Charlie Finney and Matthew McDonald, before Harvey Carew almost put the Tigers ahead, but his low shot went narrowly wide.
