Hull have been dealt a blow with the news defender Moses Odubajo will be out for around six months with a fractured patella.

The right-back, who had just stepped up his recovery from a knee injury which required reconstructive surgery during the summer, sustained his latest injury in a non-contact incident during training.

The Premier League club said in a statement: "Moses was assessed by surgeons in London yesterday who stated the player would be required to undergo more surgery to stabilise the fracture and this will be undertaken early next week.

"Positively, the 23-year-old's knee ligaments remain intact, including the MPFL (medial patella femoral ligament) reconstruction he had in the summer.
