Hull City made it an Easter double as they backed up their Good Friday win at Crewe Alexandra with a 3-0 home success against Northampton Town on Easter Monday.
It was 2-0 before half time as Callum Elder bagged his first for the Tigers, and his first league goal anywhere since 2015, with a sweet strike from outside the box before Keane Lewis-Potter added the second just before the break. Gavin Whyte then made it three with the last kick of the game to complete a great weekend for Grant McCann's men.
McCann made just the one change to his starting eleven following the Good Friday win at Crewe Alexandra as Josh Magennis started up front ahead of Tom Eaves.
