Hull City 2-0 Fleetwood Town: Match Report

Hull City booked their place in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 2-0 first round victory over Fleetwood Town at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.

Josh Magennis gave the Tigers a first half lead before Reece Burke scored his first goal in black and amber shortly after the hour mark as the home side recorded a comfortable win.

Grant McCann made changes to his side, although it was far from the wholesale reshuffle that has been seen for cup competitions in recent seasons. George Long, Jacob Greaves, Alfie Jones, James Scott and Magennis were the five players to come into the team, with Matt Ingram, Jordy de Wijs, Keane Lewis-Potter and Tom Eaves moving down to the bench and Greg Docherty missing out.
