Hull City slipped to a disappointing home defeat as they were beaten 1-0 by Shrewsbury Town at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers were frustrated by a well-organised Shrewsbury side, who took the three points courtesy of a first half goal from Charlie Daniels.
Grant McCann made just the one change to the side that started against Oxford United in the Tigers’ previous league outing as Reece Burke came into the back four in place of Alfie Jones. Tom Eaves was able to take a place on the bench despite feeling unwell in midweek, whilst Harvey Cartwright provided the goalkeeping cover.
