Hull City suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Ipswich Town at the KCOM Stadium on Tuesday night.
James Norwood scored the only goal of the game 15 minutes in on a frustrating evening for the Tigers.
Despite coming off injured against Doncaster Rovers last Saturday, midfield duo George Honeyman and Greg Docherty were both fit to start against the Tractor Boys, although Grant McCann did make three changes elsewhere in his line-up.
Josh Emmanuel came in for Lewie Coyle at right back with the captain’s armband passing to Honeyman, Dan Crowley came in with Alfie Jones dropping to the bench, and Gavin Whyte started ahead of Josh Magennis who was also included amongst the substitutes.
